What does it take to run a live MINDSTORMS NXT Sumo Building Competition?

Over 100 robots from 19 countries and builders of all ages entered the MINDSTORMS NXT Sumo Building Competition. The Robotics Posse (Bryan Bonahoom, John Brost, Brian Davis, Steve Hassenplug, and Jay Kinzie) evaluated sumo robots submitted on NXTLOG to determine which robots they would construct and compete in a live Sumo match.
