About LEGO Digital Designer (LDD) for MINDSTORMS

Now you can build you own three-dimensional LEGO MINDSTORMS NXT models and building instructions using LEGO Digital Designer (LDD), and share your LDD creations on NXTLOG.

Get started by downloading LDD to your computer
Download LEGO Digital Designer

Select the MINDSTORMS tab in LDD

Adding an LDD file to NXTLOG is easy!

How to Add a LEGO Digital Designer .lxf file to a NXTLOG project

  • 1. Add a new NXTLOG project (or edit an existing project)

  • 2. Add the LDD file (.lxf) to a "Click here to add media" box

  • 3. An .lxf file looks like this on your computer

  • LEGO, the LEGO logo, DUPLO, BIONICLE, MINDSTORMS, the BELVILLE, CLIKITS, KNIGHTS’ KINGDOM and EXO-FORCE logos,
    the Brick and Knob configurations and the Minifigure are trademarks of the LEGO Group.
