In some cases, you can push them out from the other side using a long axle. That can work OK for things like motors (where you can push the stuck axle out from the far side), but many times you need to pull an axle or pin out of a piece and can’t push it. Instead of using pliers (which damage the part) or your teeth (which damages your teeth!), try using a thin piece of flexible rubber. Thin rubber jar openers work very well, but so do the slightly sticky sheets you can buy to line kitchen shelves and drawers. Use these to get a good grip and gently pull the stuck part out.
